My arthritic cat had been on an a combination of meds from the vet who had suggested an ‘even better’ and more expensive monthly injection. We tried this despite the high cost but were then shocked when paying the bill and they had upped their check up fee by over 30% so we were looking at £130 every 4 weeks. He was indeed much more sprightly but also incredibly thirsty, constantly trying to drink from our water glasses and almost a little wired, which we thought was odd. I was so annoyed about the price hike that I started researching alternatives and came across just CBD and thought I could at least try it for a month or two. I am so glad I did! Although the cats hindquarters are still obviously in decline, he seems much happier, noticeably chilled out and less feisty, is eating well and brings in mice. He is an old man and doesn’t need to be bouncing around like tigger, i feel as long as he is doing all his normal things, behaving like a happy cat that is a great result!
