What are Broad Spectrum CBD Dog Treats?
Tessera Naturals CBD dog treats contain all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, and other naturally occurring compounds extracted from our special strain of phytocannabinoid-rich hemp, with the exception of THC. When consumed together, our whole plant broad spectrum profile produces what is known as an “entourage effect“. This synergistic relationship between cannabinoids and terpenes has been shown to increase the healing properties of one another.
How Much CBD Should I Give my Dog?
Each treat contains 2mgs of CBD. We recommend starting with a daily dose of 1 treat per 20 lbs of weight, and monitoring your pet’s reaction to decide if the dose needs to be increased.
For larger dogs (60lbs+), it may be more practical (and more cost-effective) to use our CBD tinctures rather than dog treats. (Refer to this diagram for calculating tinctures dosage.)
NOTE: If you give your pet CBD oil using tinctures, it’s best to stick with our “natural” flavor. Some essential oils, such as peppermint oil, may be toxic to some dogs.

Wow, what a difference this has made for our Shepherd mix, Harley.
